Welcome to 2012!

2011 ended with the relocation of our offices to our new premises and a flurry of activity while maintenance and renovations were done. Finally our new building is open for business.

So 2012 brings with it the promise of a very exciting year.

It is business as usual on Tuesday afternoons with the Indoor Bowlers looking forward to hosting, and busy organizing plenty of competitions and tournaments.

Wednesdays are still our Social Day with transport available to and from the centre. The day consists of cards, pool and darts, and the opportunity to meet old and make new friends. Meat raffles, fresh eggs and a selection of homemade jams and relishes available.

Friday mornings Homeopath Angela Hair has started up clinics between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, and Friday nights we have Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

New programmes to be introduced include Arts and Crafts, SeniorNet, and the reintroduction of Tai chi and/or Sit and Be Fit. If there is a demand for anything else we will endeavour to provide it. Please do not hesitate to contact our office to register or show interest in a possible future programme.

CARDS 500

A group meets every Tuesday at the oofice from 1.30pm till 3.30-4pm.  $2.00 fee.  Come and join us.

SIT AND BE FIT

Every Tuesday at St Andrews Church Hall.  9.30am start followed with a cup of tea.  Instructor: Frances Heke, Physiotherapist.  Cost $4.00.  All welcome.  Transport available.
